What IFRA restrictions and allergen declarations apply to this lemon oil?

Expressed lemon oil is phototoxic. Bergapten (5-MOP) is assayed by HPLC to GB/T 45139-2024 / ISO 7358 and reported for leave-on grades.

Declaration

  • Limonene and citral are declarable fragrance allergens above 0.01% in leave-on and 0.1% in rinse-off products (EU 1223/2009).
  • IFRA category limits for the relevant product type apply; the buyer's formulator sizes the dose.
  • G4S issues a per-batch allergen quantification on request.

The oil is phototoxic (bergapten-controlled). G4S supplies the composition and the SDS; the formulator remains responsible for the end-product label and dose.
