Can zhike fruit peel oil be supplied with organic or natural certification?
Natural is inherent (steam-distilled, unadulterated — see the purity FAQ). Organic certification is possible but needs planning: the raw botanical must come from certified organic citrus orchards with the required conversion period, and the distillery must hold or work under an organic processing certificate covering the line and cleaning protocol. Chinese organic certification (GB/T 19630) and recognised international equivalence (EU/USDA/NOP routes) can be pursued for contracted volumes.
Because certified organic zhike peel is scarce — immature fruit is a by-product of orchard thinning/green-fruit management, and most organic citrus programmes target the ripe fruit — we recommend locking the organic raw-material source 6-12 months ahead of the first certified shipment. Certification status, audit scope and lead time are confirmed in writing before the contract; uncertified 'natural' lots remain available at standard terms.
