All three are Citrus peel oils but differ in species/maturity/process. Sweet orange oil: Citrus sinensis, ripe fruit, usually cold-pressed, ultra-high d-limonene (typically >90%), sweet-fresh profile, commodity-priced. Bitter orange peel oil (commercial): Citrus aurantium, ripe fruit, Mediterranean cold-pressed (CAS 68916-04-1), rotation +88° to +98°, limonene-dominant with more bitter complexity than sweet orange. Zhike fruit peel oil: Citrus aurantium, immature (green) fruit dried per ChP 2020, steam-distilled — the only distillate of the three; limonene still dominant but with a wider, origin-dependent spread (≈9-65%) and a noticeably drier, more herbaceous-bitter character from the immature peel plus oxygenated co-components.

Practical selection guide: sweet orange for classic juicy sweetness and low cost; ripe bitter-orange expressed for 'true bitter orange zest' in food/commercial work; zhike distillate when you need a natural, dry, peel-bitter citrus note, an immature-fruit provenance story, or a distilled (furocoumarin-reduced) citrus profile for photostability-sensitive formulas. GC fingerprints distinguish all three unambiguously.
