How does zhike fruit peel oil smell?
Zhike fruit peel oil opens with a fresh, bright citrus-peel character — zesty orange zest with a distinct bitter-orange nuance — and settles into a slightly woody, herbaceous dry-down with faint floral undertones. Compared with sweet orange oil it is markedly less sweet and more 'peel-bitter', closer in family to bitter orange peel and petitgrain oils.
The dry, bitter-fresh profile reflects its immature-fruit origin: fewer ultra-sweet esters and more terpene + oxygenated character than ripe-fruit expressed oils. Perfumers use it to add natural 'green citrus peel' lift to colognes, fougères and fresh functional-fragrance accords. Aroma is evaluated nose-to-batch against a retained reference sample, and the olfactory description is included in the COA for routine lots on request.
