How is jasmine sambac concrete produced?
Top uses solvent extraction of the fresh flower: fresh jasmine sambac -> solvent extraction (food-grade solvent) -> solvent recovery / concentration -> dewaxing / cooling crystallization -> jasmine concrete. The concrete is the waxy aromatic mass before de-waxing to absolute.
Top controls solvent residues (GB 5009.262, not detected) and documents the actual solvent and recovery. It is not steam distillation (jasmine flowers yield essentially nothing to steam); solvent extraction (and supercritical CO2, used by sister product GD27) is the only route to capture jasmine's delicate indolic floral.
The concrete is the intermediate Top sells (separate from GD27 jasmine sambac essential oil / CO2, which is a different extraction route).
