What are the main applications of hawthorn concrete?

Primary Applications

food and beverage flavour / fruit-note systems (hawthorn drink, jam, pastry, dairy, candy — the tart fruity note; label per GB 2760 / food regulations as a food extract); functional / medicine-food dual-use food (hawthorn is a traditional functional food, used in tonics, teas, jellies); beverage and sauce systems needing natural fruit-acid balance.

It is a water-soluble fruit concentrate (not a fragrance oil), so it is dosed into aqueous/food systems by weight/volume, not as a perfume. Formulators label it as a food extract (medicine-food dual-use) and note it is an aqueous concentrate, distinct from an essential oil.

Because it is a fruit concentrate with sugars/acid, keep it in food (not cosmetic-perfume) use unless the cosmetic is a rinse-off food-derived product with proper claims.
