Is this green mandarin oil safe — what does the SDS/MSDS say?

TPS-RO-012 is a low-toxicity natural food flavouring, but it is a flammable liquid and a phototoxic citrus oil: the Safety Data Sheet (SDS, Chinese GB version and English GHS version) treats it accordingly — not as a drinking or neat-skin product.

  • Phototoxicity is the key safety topic: do not apply the neat oil to skin followed by strong sun or UV exposure; diluted leave-on products must respect the IFRA 2% cap
  • Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flame; store in closed containers in a cool ventilated place
  • For skin contact, wash with soap and water; for eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water; do not induce vomiting if swallowed
  • Limonene can oxidise in air, forming skin-sensitising oxidation products — store sealed, cool, and dark; use fresh batches
  • The SDS is provided in both Chinese (GB/T 16483) and English GHS format with every order
