What is the solubility of wintersweet flower wax?

Wintersweet flower wax is soluble in ethanol and fixed oils, and insoluble in water — the standard behavior of natural floral waxes.

Practical guidance: pre-melt the wax at 55–62 °C, then blend into the warm oil or alcohol phase for a uniform dispersion. For cold-process formulations, use a pre-blended wax-in-oil concentrate. Solubility is assessed following GB/T 14455.3-2008 (evaluation of miscibility in ethanol).
