What is the production capacity for this valerian root oil?
Our valerian oil production combines plantation sourcing with dedicated steam-distillation and CO₂-extraction lines. Capacity is batch-planned around the autumn harvest, and we can scale from sample bottles to multi-tonne annual contracts.
Production Capability
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Steam distillation | Dedicated root-distillation units; typical batch charges of dried rhizomes/roots |
| CO₂ extraction (Zhi Zhu Xiang line) | Supercritical CO₂ (≈30 MPa, 40 °C) for the premium V. jatamansi profile |
| Annual capacity | Tonne-level output per harvest season, planned by contract volumes |
| Sourcing | Plantation partners in Guizhou (V. officinalis) and Yunnan (V. jatamansi) |
| Filling | 100 g–25 kg aluminum/amber bottles; 25–180 kg food-grade epoxy-lined drums |
| QC | GC-MS, density/RI/rotation, acid value, heavy metals & pesticide screening per batch |
Planning Notes
- The autumn harvest (Sep–Nov) is the main production window; capacity is allocated to contract customers first
- Large annual contracts (e.g. 500 kg–5 t) are best planned as 6–12-month schedules tied to the harvest
- Premium CO₂-extracted Zhi Zhu Xiang runs on a separate line with its own batch plan
- Sample orders (100 g–1 kg) are drawn from retained stock and ship within days
- If you need a locked specification or blended consistency across the year, we blend and hold the reference batch
Send us your annual volume estimate and we will propose a capacity reservation and delivery schedule.
