Can rose flower wax be remelted, and how stable is it under heat?

Yes, rose flower wax is fully remeltable — melt it, pour it, and it re-solidifies with the same aroma and performance, making it ideal for candle and balm production where heating is part of the process.

AspectStability Data
Melting point50-62°C
Safe processing temperatureUp to 80°C
Re-solidificationComplete, no loss of function
Aroma retentionStable through normal processing
Repeated cycles2-3 melt cycles acceptable
Processing guidance: heat the wax gently to just above its melting point (60-70°C) using a water bath or low-heat source; avoid prolonged heating above 80°C which can fade the delicate rose aromatics and darken the color. Stir gently during melting for even temperature.

In candles the wax melts and burns cleanly; in balms it re-solidifies smoothly without graininess when cooled slowly with stirring.

If your production line involves high shear or long heat hold, we can supply heat-stability test data for your process window.
