About ISO 856 Types A and B
- Type A: lower menthofuran and higher ester content — typical of US-style oils
- Type B: higher menthofuran — typical of European and some Chinese lots
- Both types are authentic M. × piperita; the COA states which type the lot matches
Release Practice
- Every batch is released against the agreed standard (GB / ISO / USP) with GC-MS component verification
- Production follows GMP with raw-material authentication (botanical identification of the cultivar) and batch traceability
- COA, GC-MS, SDS and IFRA documentation are provided with each shipment; EU flavouring and US FEMA documents are issued per destination
