How is the hydrosol used in formulations — is it water soluble?

As a natural distillate, the hydrosol is fully water soluble and can replace part or all of the water phase in most formulas without emulsion issues.

ApplicationUsage Suggestion
Toner / facial mistUse neat or diluted 1:1 with water
Face mask baseReplace water phase in mask formulas
Body mist / room sprayNeat with a touch of solubilizer if adding oils
Eye-area compressDiluted with water or saline, patch-test first
Natural fragranceBase for alcohol-free perfume sprays
Being water-based, it blends easily into oil-in-water systems and is stable at the mildly acidic pH range. For alcohol-free perfumery it can carry 1–3% of water-soluble fragrances with the help of a solubilizer. We can share formulation ratios and preservative guidance for each end use.

Tell us your application (skincare, fragrance, food or household) and we will recommend the right concentration and handling.
