How does this Nardostachys spikenard oil compare with other root oils like valerian or spikenard from other regions?

Within the family of earthy root oils: valerian root oil is sharper, with a strong "dirty socks" animalic note driven by valerenic acid compounds; spikenard is smoother, sweeter, more incense-like — the sacred oil of the Bible. Compared with angelica root oil (sweet-spicy musky), spikenard is deeper, damper and more woody-animalic. Quality markers for authentic Nardostachys oil: valeranone ≥30% and spathulenol ≥15% (Ph.Eur. 11.0), whereas many commercial lots are diluted with valerian or cedar fractions and fail these limits — our GC-MS verifies each batch.
