What is the melting point range of the lavender flower wax?

The melting point of our lavender flower wax is 50–64 °C, which is typical for natural floral waxes with a high wax-ester content.

Practical Handling Guide

  • Storage: Keep below 25 °C; the wax stays firm and stable
  • Melting: Gently heat to 55–65 °C in a water bath or double boiler
  • Never heat directly over an open flame or above 80 °C, to protect the delicate lavender aroma

The melting point is verified on every production batch and listed in the COA. The relatively low melting range makes this wax easy to incorporate into balms, creams, lipsticks, and candles without aggressive heating.

Ask us for the COA of your batch to confirm the exact measured melting point.
