Is the jasmine flower wax IFRA compliant for perfumery use?
Our jasmine flower wax is a natural botanical wax, and like all natural flower waxes it is not subject to a specific IFRA quantitative limit in the same way as isolated aroma chemicals. As a natural wax used in fragrance applications, the IFRA standards apply to the fragrance composition as a whole.
Key Points
- The wax contains only natural jasmine-derived constituents; no synthetic fragrance is added
- It is used primarily as a fixative, texturizer, and natural scent carrier in perfumery
- We can provide the GC-MS composition report so your fragrance formulator can evaluate compliance of the finished composition
- An IFRA compliance statement for the natural material can be issued on request
For finished-product compliance, we recommend having your formulator review the final composition with the GC-MS data. Contact us and we will share the analysis documents.
