What dosage rates are recommended in different products?

Recommended starting rates are 0.5–5% in fragrance concentrates, 0.5–2% in leave-on cosmetics, 1–3% in wash-off products, and 3–10% of the fragrance oil in candles and diffusers.

Start at the low end, evaluate stability and performance in your actual base, then step up. As a heat- and light-sensitive natural, keep finished products in amber or opaque packaging and avoid hot-fill stages where possible.
