How should the oil be used in scented candles and home fragrance?

For candles, use 3–6% oil per wax weight, added at 85–90°C after wax melting, with continuous stirring for even dispersion; it also works well in reed diffusers, incense and wax melts at comparable rates.

ProductUsageTip
Scented candle3–6% of waxAdd at 85–90°C, stir well
Reed diffuser5–10% in diffuser baseBlend with alcohol/DPG
Wax melt5–8% of waxSame dosing logic as candles
IncensePer formulaSmall amounts for herbal nuance
Higher rates (up to 8%) work for cold-throw prominence but watch flash point and IFRA limits. The cooling-herbal character gives candles a distinctive spa signature that stands out against generic floral candles.
