Yes — as a steam-distilled oil it qualifies as a natural flavouring substance under GB 2760 (national food-safety standard for food additives), and the oil itself is directly regulated by the compulsory food-additive standard GB 1886.274-2016, which permits its use as a food flavouring in China.

For export outside China, verify local flavouring regulations (e.g. EU flavourings Regulation 1334/2008 or US 21 CFR) with your local regulator using the standard citations and GC-MS data we supply.
