Is the hydrosol at risk of freezing during winter transit?

Yes — because the product is water-based, it can freeze when exposed to sustained sub-zero temperatures during winter transit; we mitigate this through packing and routing decisions.

SituationRisk & Handling
Winter ocean transit (cold routes)Possible freezing; keep containers sheltered where feasible
Air/express winter transitShort exposure; usually acceptable with insulated packing
Frozen productThaw slowly at room temperature, then re-check appearance, pH and aroma
If a batch has frozen, we recommend evaluating it after thawing before use — most hydrosol quality parameters should recover, but each case is checked against the COA. For cold destinations we advise on insulated pallet wraps, scheduling and pack choice.

Tell us the destination and shipping season, and we will include the appropriate cold-weather handling in the quotation.
