How is the gardenia hydrosol produced?

The hydrosol is produced by steam distillation of fresh gardenia blossoms and collected as the aqueous condensate co-distilled with the essential oil — a true saturated floral water, not a re-made dilution.

MethodSteam distillation (hydrosol co-product)
InputFresh Gardenia jasminoides blossoms
OutputSaturated floral condensate + co-distilled oil phase
SolventNone — water only
Fresh flowers are loaded into the still within hours of picking. Steam carries the volatile, water-soluble aromatic fraction into the condensate, which is separated, filtered and filled under hygienic conditions. Because the water is fully saturated with the flower's soluble actives, the hydrosol carries a natural, well-rounded gardenia character.

The process is alcohol-free, solvent-free and preservative-free. Each batch is filled with a batch number and COA. Send us your required specification and we will confirm the corresponding production batch.
