How is the wax transported without melting in summer?
The wax's melting point is 50–63 °C, so it stays solid in normal transport conditions. For very hot routes we add extra heat protection.
Transport Protection Measures
| Condition | Measure |
|---|---|
| Normal climate | Standard export cartons |
| Hot route / summer | Insulated lining + wax paper wrapping |
| Long sea transit | Container stowage away from heat sources |
| Extreme heat zones | Optional temperature-logger monitoring |
What to Do on Arrival
- If the surface appears slightly softened, simply re-cool at 20–25 °C — the wax re-solidifies without quality loss
- Check the package temperature history if a temperature logger was used
- Report any damage immediately with photos
Quality (aroma, melting point, moisture) is unaffected by brief warming and re-solidification. For destinations with extreme heat, we recommend the insulated option — ask us for details.
