Is this oil soluble in ethanol, carrier oils, and water?

The oil is soluble in ethanol and fixed oils and insoluble in water — standard behavior for a volatile-floral essential oil, which matters for perfume dilution and cosmetic formulation.

For clear alcohol-based products, dilute first in ethanol before adding water; for oil-phase formulations, pre-blend with your carrier oil. If you need an aqueous-soluble version, we can supply a solubilized fragrance oil or a gardenia hydrosol from the same distillation run.

Tell us your base formulation and we will recommend the correct dilution ratio and any needed pre-blending step.
