FAQ Header

Which extraction method do you use — steam distillation or CO2 extraction, and how does it affect yield and aroma?

We offer both methods: our standard product is steam distillation (as stated on the product sheet), and we can produce supercritical CO2 extraction + molecular distillation grades for premium cosmetic and perfumery buyers.

Method Comparison

Supercritical CO2 + molecular distillationUp to 5–8× higherCloser to fresh blossom, full-bodiedHigh-end cosmetics, luxury perfumery
For CO2 extraction we follow the process protected by patent CN 115418270 A (fresh-blossom chilled transport → pre-sorting → fine grinding → SFE at 29–44°C, 31–40 MPa → two-stage molecular distillation), which preserves heat-sensitive aromatics.

State your target application and budget and we will recommend the right grade, with COA and GC-MS included for every batch.
