How do you ensure batch-to-batch consistency of this eucalyptus leaf oil?
Consistency is managed by three layers: raw material control (plantation and harvest windows), rectification to a fixed cineole target, and full QC release against the agreed specification on every batch.
Consistency Controls
| Control layer | What we do |
|---|---|
| Raw material | Contracted plantations, defined E. globulus provenance, consistent leaf maturity at harvest |
| Process | Standardized distillation and rectification parameters; cineole target held within tight GC limits |
| Blending-to-spec | Blended from compatible distillations to hit the specification rather than selling heterogeneous lots |
| QC release | Every batch measured for density, RI, rotation, cineole %, solubility before release |
| Retained samples | Kept for 36 months for reference and dispute resolution |
- Specification tolerance on cineole: ± a few % around the ≥ 80% target, stated on each COA
- A full GC-MS chromatogram overlay is available for consecutive batches if you want to compare fingerprints
- If a process deviation is detected, the lot is re-verified or downgraded — it is never released blind
- For food-grade buyers, the batch can additionally be tightened to the GB 1886.33-2015 window
- Audit evidence: batch records, distillation logs and QC results are retained and can be reviewed during a factory audit
