FAQ Header
Is this pomelo-oil Halal and/or Kosher certified?
G4S can supply Halal and Kosher certificates on request for dedicated lots (plant/fungus origin and generally compatible; certification is issued per batch / per request). Tell G4S at order time so we reserve a certified run and the correct documentation. If you only need a general statement, we can issue a source declaration. Certificates are provided as PDF with the shipment or separately by email.
Is this pomelo-oil food-grade, and is there a FEMA GRAS number?
Pomelo oil is a food-grade citrus flavour for China (GB 2760) and export (FEMA/JECFA/IOFI); the buyer confirms specific food-category eligibility. No FEMA GRAS number specifically for pomelo oil; citrus oils generally carry FEMA 2823 (orange oil) or similar. G4S supplies documented lots and the food-use citation; the buyer confirms the exact food category and market eligibility. The buyer confirms the exact food category and market eligibility with their own compliance team.
What are your FOB price tiers for pomelo-oil?
pomelo-oil is a value-added natural product; G4S issues an FOB quotation on request (FOB Shanghai / FOB Qingdao): sample / 1 kg (highest unit), 1-5 kg (mid), 5-25 kg (volume), 25 kg plus (best). Grade drives price — the defined key markers and origin. We do not publish a fixed price list — contact G4S with target grade, volume and pack size for a formal FOB quote.
Can buyers audit or visit your facility?
Yes. G4S welcomes factory audits and visits (virtual or on-site) for qualified B2B buyers — covering the processing line, QC lab, packaging and traceability. We can show the raw-material sourcing and the Q/XXXX conformance documentation. Audit requests should be made in advance so we prepare the line, documents and (where needed) an NDA. A successful audit builds the basis for an LTA and better pricing.
How is pomelo-oil produced?
G4S uses cold-pressing of the fresh peel (for CFPA-type oil) or steam distillation of the peel. G4S documents the process and the yield. G4S controls the limonene / nootkatone profile through the source pomelo variety and the processing method.
What export documents and customs support do you provide?
G4S issues the full export set: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading / airway bill, COA (Q/XXXX conformance stated), assay report, MSDS/SDS, and health / phytosanitary certificate (on request). We prepare documents to meet your customs format and HS code, and reference Q/XXXX and the product standards as the basis. If your market needs extra certificates, tell G4S in advance. We cooperate with your broker for smooth clearance.
Is pomelo-oil regulated as dangerous goods for transport?
pomelo-oil is a low-hazard material and is not classified as dangerous goods in standard carriage regimes — low DG friction. That said, G4S still issues an SDS (CLP for EU) and packs it sealed and correctly labelled; if a carrier treats it as a DG under a stricter interpretation, we declare and pack to the SDS-driven class and use qualified forwarders. We never misdeclare; the lot-specific SDS drives the transport class. Buyers should inform their broker of the material and SDS so clearance and last-mile handling are correct.
Can you customize specifications or provide OEM / private-label?
Yes. G4S supports customization and OEM / private-label: (1) grade — standard vs a defined target grade; (2) supply at a defined concentration for easier handling; (3) private-label with your artwork and documents; (4) develop a dedicated lot to Q/XXXX or your spec. MOQ and lead time depend on customization; tell us the target grade, pack size and volume and we will quote. All customized lots still ship with COA plus assay plus MSDS.
What is the country of origin, and can you provide traceability?
Country of origin: Guangdong / Fujian / Hainan / Guangxi cultivated orchards, China. G4S keeps a raw-material (lot) -> processing -> concentration/purification -> packaging ledger and can issue a lot-specific traceability dossier. For audit, G4S provides the supply-chain statement, batch COA and assay. Traceability traces the the raw-material orchard / lot through processing to the finished product.
