FAQ Header
What does pomelo-oil look and smell like?
Appearance: a pale-yellow to amber mobile citrus oil. Odour/taste: characteristic bright, fresh, sweet citrus (pomelo) odour with aldehyde top-notes. Because it is a natural aromatic material, the aroma is the natural Citrus grandis (L.) Osbeck (pomelo) character. Sensory evaluation follows an in-house panel; G4S provides the odour/flavour description on the COA and can supply a reference sample. Store sealed, away from light/heat/moisture.
What after-sales support do you provide?
G4S provides ongoing support: lot traceability and re-test within shelf life using the retention sample, documentation re-issue (COA / SDS / origin / health / phytosanitary cert copies), formulation advice and a responsive complaint channel. For LTA buyers we assign a dedicated contact and periodic review of grade consistency. We treat the relationship as long-term — the after-sales step is where we protect your production continuity, not an afterthought.
How do you authenticate pomelo-oil and screen for adulteration?
G4S authenticates by: (1) GC for limonene/nootkatone and the citrus volatile fingerprint matched to the natural Citrus grandis (L.) Osbeck (pomelo) profile and the GC/MS fingerprint; (2) GC/MS fingerprint plus targeted adulterant screening; (3) species + "Citrus grandis (L.) Osbeck (pomelo) species-specific raw material" declaration on COA; (4) heavy metals + microbiology per food-safety. Every lot ships with COA plus assay. We screen adulterants, heavy metals and solvent residue. Lots failing the natural profile or exceeding limits are blocked.
How do you authenticate jasmine sambac concrete and screen for adulteration?
Top authenticates by: GC-MS benzyl alcohol / benzyl acetate / indole floral fingerprint matched to natural jasmine sambac (the ratio of benzyl alcohol, benzyl acetate, indole, cis-jasmone, methyl jasmonate is the signature; synthetic jasmine lacks the jasmone/jasmonate trace complex)melting point / refractive index / yield against Q/XXXXsolvent residue confirm (GB 5009.262 not detected)Species + "fresh flower / solvent concrete" declaration on COAWhere required, stable-isotope / spectroscopic naturalness. Every lot ships with COA plus GC-MS. We screen synthetic-jasmine / other flower-wax padding / carrier dilution by the floral fingerprint. Lots failing the natural jasmine sambac indolic profile are blocked.
Can we arrange third-party inspection (SGS / Eurofins)?
Yes. Top supports third-party inspection and testing by SGS, Eurofins or an agreed lab at buyer cost. Options: pre-shipment sampling plus lab verification (key markers, heavy metals, micro), and factory audit. We share the lot number and retention sample so the inspector draws representatively. Tell Top which parameters and which lab, and we will coordinate the appointment and incorporate the result into the shipment documents.
What is your sustainability and responsible-sourcing approach?
Top sources raw material through contracted supply bases with a traceability ledger (raw-material source through processing to the finished product). Buyers can request a supply-chain / origin declaration and (for dedicated lots) organic certification. We aim for transparent, documentable sourcing rather than vague natural claims.
How do you handle shipping and freight?
Top ships worldwide by sea or air under the agreed Incoterm. For sea we use FCL / LCL from Shanghai / Qingdao; for air, DHL / FedEx / airline cargo. yellow-chrysanthemum-concrete is low-hazard, but we still ship it with an SDS where applicable and use qualified forwarders. We provide tracking and can handle door-to-door or port-to-port. Freight is quoted separately from the product FOB price; tell Top your destination port / airport and preferred mode for a quote.
What is the shelf life and how should it be stored?
Shelf life: 36 months from production (sealed, cool, dark). Strict protection: sealed, away from light/heat/moisture; cool (<25C) and dry storage; refrigerate for long-term. Top formulates within regulatory limits and packs under clean, low-moisture conditions It may thicken at low temperature — normal; re-liquefies on warming. Re-test before the end of shelf life. The COA notes the production date and recommended storage.
Is yellow-chrysanthemum-concrete seasonal, and how does that affect availability?
Availability is governed by processing capacity and raw-material scheduling rather than a single harvest window. Top keeps buffer stock of standard grades and contracts raw material volume; for large or steady volumes we recommend an LTA to reserve processing slots and stabilize price. We communicate raw-material market conditions on each quotation.
