What does osmanthus concrete look and smell like?
AppearanceA soft, waxy, paste-to-semi-solid mass, yellow to green-yellow or brown-yellow (a true "concrete" — it contains floral wax, so it is not fluid at room temperature; warm to soften). OdourThe classic sweet, apricot / peach, tea-like, slightly woody osmanthus character — rich and natural, not a single-note synthetic.Because solvent extraction captures the full floral complex, the aroma is the true natural osmanthus (β-ionone family), not a simplified fragrance. Sensory evaluation follows an in-house panel; Top provides the odour description on the COA and can supply a reference sample. (Reminder: it is a concrete — melt/weigh and dilute, do not treat...
What after-sales support do you provide?
Top provides ongoing support: lot traceability and re-test within shelf life using the retention sample, documentation re-issue (COA / SDS / origin / health cert copies), formulation advice (melting/dilution in carrier oil or food-grade ethanol, grade selection for stability, food vs cosmetic labeling, oxidation-control note for this waxy, aroma-sensitive concrete) and a responsive complaint channel. For LTA buyers we assign a dedicated contact and periodic review of grade consistency. We treat the relationship as long-term — the after-sales step is where we protect your production continuity, not an afterthought.
How do you authenticate osmanthus concrete and screen for adulteration?
Top authenticates by:GC-MS β-ionone / ionone-series floral fingerprint matched to natural osmanthus (the ratio of β-ionone, dihydro-β-ionone, linalool, linalyl acetate, nerol oxide is the signature)melting point / refractive index / yield against Q/XXXXsolvent residue confirm (GB 5009.262 not detected)Species + "fresh flower / solvent concrete" declaration on COAWhere required, stable-isotope / spectroscopic naturalness.Every lot ships with COA plus GC-MS. We screen synthetic-osmanthus / other flower-wax padding / carrier dilution by the floral fingerprint.Lots failing the natural osmanthus ionone profile are blocked.
Can we arrange third-party inspection (SGS / Eurofins)?
Yes. Top supports third-party inspection and testing by SGS, Eurofins or an agreed lab at buyer cost. OptionsPre-shipment sampling plus lab verification (key markers, heavy metals, micro), and factory audit. We share the lot number and retention sample so the inspector draws representatively. Tell Top which parameters and which lab, and we will coordinate the appointment and incorporate the result into the shipment documents.
What is your sustainability and responsible-sourcing approach?
Top sources raw material through contracted supply bases with a traceability ledger (raw-material source through processing to the finished product). Buyers can request a supply-chain / origin declaration and (for dedicated lots) organic certification. We aim for transparent, documentable sourcing rather than vague natural claims.
How do you handle shipping and freight?
Top ships worldwide by sea or air under the agreed Incoterm. For sea we use FCL / LCL from Shanghai / Qingdao; for air, DHL / FedEx / airline cargo. michelia-alba-concrete is low-hazard, but we still ship it with an SDS where applicable and use qualified forwarders. We provide tracking and can handle door-to-door or port-to-port. Freight is quoted separately from the product FOB price; tell Top your destination port / airport and preferred mode for a quote.
What is the shelf life and how should it be stored?
Shelf Life36 months from production (sealed, cool, dark). Strict ProtectionSealed, away from light/heat/moisture; cool (<25C) and dry storage; refrigerate for long-term.Top formulates within regulatory limits and packs under clean, low-moisture conditions It may thicken at low temperature — normal; re-liquefies on warming. Re-test before the end of shelf life. The COA notes the production date and recommended storage.
Is michelia-alba-concrete seasonal, and how does that affect availability?
Availability is governed by processing capacity and raw-material scheduling rather than a single harvest window. Top keeps buffer stock of standard grades and contracts raw material volume; for large or steady volumes we recommend an LTA to reserve processing slots and stabilize price. We communicate raw-material market conditions on each quotation.
What is your sample policy for michelia-alba-concrete?
Top supports evaluation with 5-10 g samples (sometimes up to about 20 g for qualified buyers), drawn from current stock or a fresh batch, shipped with COA plus assay. Samples are usually charged at the sample-tier price (or free for strategic / qualified accounts) plus freight. We recommend requesting the sample from the same lot you intend to purchase so the profile matches your production batch. Sample lead time is short (stock) or aligned with the next production window.Tell Top your application and preferred grade and we will suggest a representative sample.
