What regulatory support and documents do you provide for import?
G4S supports import compliance with: COA (Q/XXXX conformance) plus assay (key markers + heavy metals + microbiology + sensory) plus sensory sheet, CLP-format SDS (EU), certificate of origin, and references to the relevant frameworks — Q/XXXX enterprise standard; references GB 2760, GB 5009 series, GB 4789 series, GB/T 14455, CFPA citrus-oil standards where applicable. For market-specific needs tell G4S early. We document that this is a processed natural product (not a distilled essential oil where stated) — important for correct customs and formulation classification. G4S adds the health / phytosanitary certificate for import on request.
Can you re-test or re-analyze a lot after delivery?
Yes. G4S keeps a retention sample for every lot and can re-test within the shelf life on request (key markers, heavy metals, micro, solvent residue). If a buyer disputes a result, we compare our retained-sample data with the original COA; a third-party lab (SGS, Eurofins) can be engaged for an independent read, with costs allocated by outcome. Re-testing protects both sides and is a standard part of our traceability commitment.
What quality control and in-house lab capabilities do you have?
G4S operates in-house QC with: HPLC / GC for the key markers, solvent-residue and heavy-metal checks, peroxide/acid value (freshness), plus microbiology and moisture/ash per the relevant standards. Out-of-spec lots are blocked. We can arrange third-party verification (SGS, Eurofins) at buyer cost and keep retention samples for re-testing within shelf life.
How do you guarantee purity and authenticity of pomelo-oil?
Authenticity is guaranteed by (1) Q/XXXX conformance and (2) per-batch GC for limonene/nootkatone and the citrus volatile fingerprint plus GC/MS fingerprint plus targeted adulterant screening plus the COA species + "Citrus grandis (L.) Osbeck (pomelo) species-specific raw material" declaration. G4S does not spike with cheaper substitutes or synthetic mimics. The GC for limonene/nootkatone and the citrus volatile fingerprint is the authenticity proof. Lots failing the profile or the limits are blocked. For high-assurance needs we offer third-party verification. Purity claims always tie back to the lot's own data — no unsupported matches-standard language.
What is your production capacity for pomelo-oil?
Capacity is processing-slot plus raw-material-supply dependent: G4S allocates runs across committed orders. Large volumes are feasible but need lead-time planning. We keep a small buffer of standard grades and recommend an LTA / annual framework for steady buyers so slots and sourcing are reserved ahead. Tell us your annual volume and we will size the allocation and confirm lead time.
What factors influence the pomelo-oil price?
Main drivers: (1) grade — the defined key markers; (2) raw-material cost and sourcing; (3) pack size and volume; (4) currency / freight. FX and freight quoted separately. G4S explains the drivers on each quotation.
Do you allow pre-shipment inspection (PSI) before loading?
Yes. Buyers or their inspector may perform pre-shipment inspection at G4S's facility or the forwarder's warehouse before loading — verifying pack integrity, net weight, lot numbers, labelling and sealing, and drawing samples for independent lab tests (including the key markers and solvent residue for pomelo-oil). PSI also confirms correct sealed, labelled, food-grade packing. G4S schedules PSI into the lead time and provides access to the lot and documents. If PSI finds a discrepancy, we resolve it (re-pack, re-test, replace) before the cargo is booked. PSI is coordinated alongside the agreed Incoterm.
What are the typical physicochemical specifications?
pomelo-oil is a pale-yellow to amber mobile citrus oil, with characteristic bright, fresh, sweet citrus (pomelo) odour with aldehyde top-notes. Typical window (each COA states the measured batch value within Q/XXXX): relative density ~0.840-0.870; refractive index ~1.470-1.480; aldehydes (as decanal) ≥ declared; Pb ≤ 0.5 mg/kg. Consult COA; oil-soluble forms disperse in oil phases. G4S conforms to Q/XXXX and reports markers per batch; dose per formulation. G4S conforms to Q/XXXX and reports the markers per batch.
What payment terms do you offer?
G4S offers flexible terms by partnership stage: T/T (30% deposit plus 70% against B/L copy, or 100% prior for small orders), L/C at sight for established B2B buyers, and negotiated terms for long-term contracts / LTAs. For first orders we typically require advance payment or a confirmed L/C. Samples are usually paid upfront (often net, sometimes free for qualified buyers). Tell G4S your preferred method and we will align the contract; payment terms are stated clearly on the proforma invoice.
