FAQ Header
What documents (COA, assay, MSDS) ship with each order?
Every Top order ships with:COA (batch-specific, conforming to Q/XXXX — polysaccharide content, carotenoid content, moisture, heavy metals and micro)Assay report (key markers + heavy metals + microbiology + sensory)MSDS / SDS (CLP for EU) where applicableCommercial invoice plus packing listCertificate of originHealth / phytosanitary certificate on requestFood-use note for food buyers.Optional third-party test (SGS, Eurofins) at buyer cost. All documents in EN (and CN on request).
Is lycium-barbarum-concrete subject to CITES controls?
No. Lycium barbarum L. (goji berry) is not CITES-listed (cultivated/processed source) — no CITES permit required. Top ships the standard food/export documents.Normal food-safety regulation applies; no CITES hurdle exists for lycium-barbarum-concrete.
What certificates and accreditations can you provide?
Top can provide: ISO 9001 (quality management), Halal and Kosher certificates (on request), organic for dedicated lots (on request), a non-GMO declaration, certificate of origin, and a health / phytosanitary certificate for food import on request. For EU we supply CLP-format SDS; for the US we reference 21 CFR food frameworks.Third-party test reports (SGS, Eurofins) at buyer cost. Confirm available certificates at order time — some are per-lot / per-request rather than blanket.
What botanical species does Lycium Barbarum Concrete come from, and where is it sourced?
lycium-barbarum-concrete from Top is the concentrated aqueous/alcoholic extract of Lycium barbarum (goji berry) — a sweet-red, nutrient-dense fruit concrete, not a distilled oil. Top declares the botanical name on every COA.Origin is Ningxia / Gansu / Qinghai cultivated bases, China. Goji is a medicine-food dual-use species listed by China's NHC; goji products are ordinary food raw materials in China. Top keeps the species + origin declaration so the identity is traceable. Because it is a fruit extract (not a distilled oil), it is labelled and used as a fruit concrete / extract, not an essential oil; nutrients come from polysaccharides...
Do you supply diluted or blend-ready lycium-barbarum-concrete?
Top can supply pre-blended (defined ratio in a food-grade carrier) or pre-diluted forms for easier handling and lower-cost trials. Blend base and concentration are agreed per order and stated on the COA.Note that blending changes the measured specification window, so the COA always declares the actual concentration and base. Neat lots remain the default for buyers who formulate in-house.
How do you ensure batch-to-batch consistency and traceability?
Top controls consistency through Q/XXXX and per-batch QC matched to the reference profile. Traceability runs raw-material source through processing to the finished product with a lot-specific ledger and retention sample. If your application needs tight tolerances, tell Top and we can select lots from the same source or blend to a target profile. Every shipment carries a lot number linking to the COA and assay on file.
What does lycium-barbarum-concrete look and smell like?
AppearanceA dark-red to reddish-brown viscous concrete/paste. Odour/TasteCharacteristic sweet, slightly earthy goji berry odour.Because it is a natural aromatic material, the aroma is the natural Lycium barbarum L. (goji berry) character. Sensory evaluation follows an in-house panel; Top provides the odour/flavour description on the COA and can supply a reference sample.Store sealed, away from light/heat/moisture.
What after-sales support do you provide?
Top provides ongoing support: lot traceability and re-test within shelf life using the retention sample, documentation re-issue (COA / SDS / origin / health / phytosanitary cert copies), formulation advice and a responsive complaint channel. For LTA buyers we assign a dedicated contact and periodic review of grade consistency. We treat the relationship as long-term — the after-sales step is where we protect your production continuity, not an afterthought.
How do you authenticate lycium-barbarum-concrete and screen for adulteration?
Top authenticates by:HPLC for polysaccharides and carotenoids, GC for the fruity volatile fingerprint matched to the natural Lycium barbarum L. (goji berry) profile and the GC/MS fingerprintGC/MS fingerprint plus targeted adulterant screeningSpecies + "Lycium barbarum L. (goji berry) species-specific raw material" declaration on COAHeavy metals + microbiology per food-safety.Every lot ships with COA plus assay. We screen adulterants, heavy metals and solvent residue.Lots failing the natural profile or exceeding limits are blocked.
